Van, Texas Was Hit by a F3 Tornado

Last Sunday night around 9:30 a tornado touched down in our little town of Van, Texas. The power went off and I hear the emergency siren, Carla, Cassia and I took shelter in our bathroom. We could hear the strength of the wind that lasted few minutes. A second storm went by, but not as strong as the first one. Early in the morning, still without power, when I saw the debris in front of our yard I realized that things up the street were not good. There was no damage to our house, but few houses from us some of our neigh

bors were hit badly. We thanked God for protecting us from such destructive force. The F3 tornado run a 10 miles path and was 700 yards wide destroying or damaging 120 houses.
