Message from Don and Deyon Stephens

25 Years of Service with Mercy Ships It hardly seems like 25 years ago that Marcos & Carla arrived onboard the Anastasis with two little girls in tow. It was a joy to have them join us then, and it continues to be a quarter of a century later. Marcos & Carla have served faithfully and spent time on each of the ships over the years. Marcos, thank you for the many different roles you have filled, as varied as 2nd Engineer on Anastasis, Executive Director on Good Samaritan, and now Marine Training Manager. Carla, you too have served in many capacities. We appreciate the persistent pursuit of excellence with which you have taken on each task. Marcos has not only served diligently, but has applied himself to education and obtained a Masters Degree in Religious Education. Well done, Marcos and Carla! Don and Deyon

Sometimes it is important to fight for your rights. Other times getting what you think is your right does not matter a hill of beans in the long run. Get your relationships right; unresolved relationship issues have a tendency to hurt you down the road. In the pursuit of perfection leave room for mistakes. Correction is good; it helps to bring us back on course. People h
