Mercy Ships Partner With Mumbai Rotary Club to Train West Africa Surgeons

A team of four eye surgeons from India joined the Africa Mercy in Conakry, Guinea, West Africa early this year to train eye surgeons performing cataract surgeries. Arun Chaudhari, who led the team said: “Serving as a volunteer was a truly rewarding and exciting experience. I have been to many camps and training programs in the past, but working in Conakry gave me a true sense of service. I am very thankful to Rotary for providing me such a rich platform to serve humanity beyond caste, creed, religion, and borders.” Click here to read  article.
