The Africa Mercy Is Sailing From The Congo To The Canary Islands

After a successful field service in the Congo, the Africa Mercy is sailing to the Canary Islands. She departed Pointe Noire on June 1 st and is due to arrive in Las Palmas, Canary Islands on June 14 th where she will undergo the annual dry-docking.

Mercy Ships Announces the Contract for a New Ship

The world’s largest civilian hospital ship is contracted! An agreement has been reached with Asian and European shipbuilding firms to purpose-build a new 36,600-GRT hospital ship. Contracts were signed between Mr. Dong Qiang, VP of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC) and Donald K.
